    Gary Neville and Ian Wright were involved in a heated argument over the decision to give Gareth Southgate's side a penalty after the Netherlands' Denzel Dumfries was deemed to have fouled Harry Kane inside the area. While Wright described Dumfries as "reckless", Neville called it an "absolutely disgraceful decision".

    "As a defender, I think it's an absolutely disgraceful decision," Neville said at half-time. "To have that given against me as a penalty at any time, let alone in such an important game. He just goes in naturally to try and block the shot. It's not a penalty for me. It's nowhere near a penalty. I have to say, there weren't many England players asking for it either."

    When Wright called Dumfries "reckless", Neville replied: "Reckless? That is not reckless."
